Harry's ideal home

Harry is an 8 month old Husky X looking for a family that can give him the love and time he needs to settle into his new home. He could join a home with children of primary school age. Harry would like to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from having some doggy friends to socialise with out on walks. He will need a secure garden for exercise and play as will be unable to explore the wider world until he is fully vaccinated. Harry will need help learning all of the basics, including housetraining and due to his age he will need someone with him the majority of the time initially and any leaving hours should be gradually introduced once settled. Harry has previously lived with a cat and has the potential to live with a cat that could tolerate his excitable puppy behaviours.

You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Harry is a sweet boy who loves being with people, having a fuss and playing with toys. Prior to our care he had not experienced much of the world and so will need help learning the basics and would benefit from puppy classes once settled to help continue his socialisation and skill building.
