Aven's ideal home

Aven is an adorable 10year old Husky X who would love to find a family of his own in time for Christmas. Aven has mixed well with dogs both on and off lead and has the potential to live with a calm canine companion following meets at the centre. He has been friendly with everyone he has met though can be a little nervous and worried by sudden movements so a home where any children are of Secondary School Age would be best. Aven would benefit from having access to an outside space so he has somewhere to toilet and play. He can be worried by the car, and while travels quietly once in, would benefit from building confidence around this and having access to walks without the need for car travel initially. Once settled, Aven should be fine to be left for short periods of time.

Aven is such a charming gentleman, at 10 years young he still has such a zest for life and does the most adorable tippy tap dance when he is excited. He came into our care having been found as a stray so we have very limited information on him but he has won the hearts of all the staff and volunteers at the centre. Aven came into us needing medical treatment, this is now being well managed and we can share more information with you if you are found to be a match.
