About This Dog for Adoption

Kaiya's ideal home

Kaiya is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, provide her with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep her clever brain busy and give her all of the love and care she deserves. She is a friendly but independent bean who can live with secondary school children who understand that she is a bouncy girl and can be a little clumsy, children who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when she needs. Kaiya could live with another playful dog who doesn’t mind an intense greeting, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. Kaiya already has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, paw” and “down”, she also knows her name, she is a super smart girl and is happy to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat for encouragement. She is looking for a home with a private, secure garden with high fencing for her to potter about and explore in. Kaiya does struggle with being left alone, so is looking for adopters who are home the majority of the time especially to begin with, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle in. Kaiya will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Kaiya's perfect match?

Keen explorer Kaiya is a 1 year old Husky Cross Samoyed who loves her walkies! She will happily go out on adventures, sniffing and investigating new environments like a pro, leaving no stone unturned. Kaiya can be a little independent, she likes to be busy, exploring her surroundings and then will come over for a quick head scratch before heading back off on her important business. Kaiya likes to play, teddies and balls are her favourite, she will chase around after them but not bring them back. This beautiful fluffer is in the lookout for her new home.
