About This Dog for Adoption

Lavender's ideal home

Meet Lavender! She's a fun loving and active girl who is ready to find her forever home. Lavender has coming into our care with little previous history but has certainly kept us on our toes with her fun and cheeky personality. She loves the company of people and getting out and about on her walkies exploring lots of new sights and smells. She would love to find a family who can share her love of adventure and will enjoy spending lots of time in great outdoors! Lavender is a lovely, friendly girl and we think she could live with any age children following a meeting here at the centre. She could share her home with another dog, following a meeting here at the centre. Lavender may need some help with her basics as she settles into her new home which will include things such as housetraining and learning to walk nicely on the lead. We don't know how she will cope being left alone, so we recommend this is gradually built up once she's settled in.

Could you be Lavender's perfect match?

Lavender is truly a smashing girl, who lives her life to the fullest! She enjoys a chew and is happy to have a pamper session in the sunshine to ensure she's always looking fabulous. If you're on the search for a fun and active companion then she could be your girl!

Husky Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Siberian Husky Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
