Smokey's ideal home

Smokey is looking to be rehomed with his companion Lakia. They are looking for a home that can exercise them both at the same, as the pair are very attached and become distressed if apart. Their new home will not have any other pets and will need a private garden. We believe Smokey and Lakia would be better suited to living with children who are 12 or over, due to their size and sometimes lively nature. They would benefit from living in a quieter area, as both can struggle with too much going on. Smokey and Lakia could be left for up to six hours if this time was built up slowly and once they settled in.

Could you be Smokey's perfect match?

Smokey is an eight-year-old Siberian Husky who was handed over to us after his owner's circumstances changed. He is a friendly boy, although a little more aloof than his sister, but he still enjoys a good bum scratch - you know when you hit the spot, as he stomps his back feet side to side. Smokey is very boned to Lakia. He enjoys exploring when out on walks. We have found Smokey to be a bit fussy with his food and treats, however, he is currently on a diet and will need to continue this in his new home. Smokey isn't a fan of other dogs and does need some training to improve his reaction and emotional response when he sees them.

Smokey and Lakia are a very sweet pair of huskies, who will add character and laughter to the right home.
