About This Dog

Lana's ideal home

Lana is a confident, excitable one-year-old collie cross who loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a lovely waggy tail! She is a real livewire who enjoys being out and about, and would suit an active family looking for a fun-loving companion. Lana is super playful when meeting other dogs and could potentially live with another dog, providing they match her energy or are happy to tolerate her enthusiastic, OTT playstyle. Any dog introduction would be subject to a successful mix at the centre. She could also live with older secondary-school-aged children who are confident and experienced around boisterous dogs. She cannot live with cats or small furries.

Could you be Lana's perfect match?

Lana would love a home where she can enjoy a few walks each day before coming home for a well-earned snooze on the sofa. Once settled, she should be able to cope with being left for a few hours. Her new family will need to be patient and willing to continue her training, particularly as she can feel a little worried when her harness is being put on or taken off. With time, patience and positive training, Lana has all the potential to become a wonderful companion. If you're an active family looking for a playful, affectionate and energetic dog to share your adventures, Lana could be the girl for you!
