About This Dog

Mac's ideal home

Mac is a handsome 4-year-old Husky with an adventurous spirit who loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors with his favourite people. Friendly and sociable, he greets new people with enthusiasm and can be quite excitable, so he'll thrive with adopters who can continue to guide him with positive training. Mac could live with older primary school-aged children and has previously lived successfully with cats. As he enjoys human company, he is looking for a home where he won't be left for long periods initially, with any time alone built up gradually once he has settled into his new routine.

Could you be Mac's perfect match?

If you're an active household looking for a loyal walking companion, Mac could be the perfect match. He enjoys affection once he has formed a bond and likes to check in with his owners during walks, although he will need continued recall training before enjoying more freedom. Mac can be a little lacking in manners around other dogs, so ongoing training and sensible management will help him build his confidence and social skills. With patience, consistency and plenty of outdoor adventures, Mac is sure to become a wonderful and rewarding companion.
