About This Dog

Yoda's ideal home

Yoda is a lovely 6-year-old Siberian Husky who is looking for a calm, patient and understanding home where he can take his time to build confidence. He can be nervous when faced with new people or environments and will need an adopter who is happy to let him settle at his own pace. Once he has built a bond with you, Yoda enjoys a fuss and affection, although he is a typical Husky who also likes his independence. He loves being outdoors and exploring and has good recall when off lead. Yoda is friendly with people, and seems to naturally bond with men more quickly.

Could you be Yoda's perfect match?

Yoda is an energetic boy who will need plenty of exercise, enrichment and opportunities to explore every day. He can happily walk alongside reactive dogs, showing good tolerance before choosing to carry on with his own adventures. He may be able to live with a calm, compatible dog, although his previous guarding behaviours would need to be carefully considered. Due to these behaviours, Yoda could potentially live with older secondary-school-aged children. His ideal home will be one where his needs are understood, his confidence can grow and he can enjoy the companionship of people who appreciate the independent, quirky and wonderful nature of a Husky.
