About This Dog for Adoption

Gabby's ideal home

Hello, I’m Gabby, a 4-year-and-7-month-old Siberian Husky girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m confident, friendly, and absolutely love meeting new people. I currently live with children of primary school age and older, and I’d be more than happy to share my new home with kids too.
I could also live with another neutered dog, as long as we have a successful meet and greet at the centre in Lazonby near Penrith.
When it comes to playtime, I’m all about my squeaky ball – I love to chase it, though fetching it back isn’t always part of my plan! I enjoy running freely in secure fields and have a few dog pals I adore playing with. On all walks, I stay on the lead, and I can not live with cats, small furries, or livestock.

Could you be Gabby's perfect match?

Like any true Husky, I enjoy a good chat and have plenty of character once you get to know me. As the evenings draw in, I’m happiest snuggled up on the sofa under a cozy blanket. I love fuss and cuddles, and if you stop stroking me too soon, I’ll give you a gentle nudge to ask for more.
I’m housetrained and will let you know when I need to go out by running to the door and vocalising. My favourite treat is carrots, and I enjoy my routine of three walks a day – morning, midday, and evening. At bedtime, around 10pm, I settle down on the sofa for a peaceful night’s sleep.
If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, a loyal, loving, and chatty companion who’ll fill your home with warmth and personality, I’ll be your perfect match.
