About This Dog for Adoption
Blu's ideal home
Blu is looking for a home with fun loving and active adopters who can take him on adventures, exploring the great outdoors and lots of fun play and enrichment to keep him busy. He can live with children aged 8 years and over are comfortable with a large, playful dog and can give him space to rest when needed. Blu is friendly lad and could live with an established dog who is happy to engage in play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, he would love to have friendly walking buddies, he cannot live with cats, birds or other small furries. Blu has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, “down” and “paw” and is keen to learn more in short and sweet sessions for a tasty treat as he can get a little distracted. He has been housetrained in the past, so may just need a refresher so a private or communal garden is preferred. He can get a little worried being left initially, but he can settle nicely so would be able to be left for up to 2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Blu will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet his within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Blu's all about making friends, both two-legged and four-legged, and he's totally into a cozy cuddle - he'll lean right into it until he's all cuddled out, then he'll saunter away. When it's playtime, he goes bananas for a good game of tug with his fave humans and zooming after his toys. This gem of a pooch is on the lookout for a place to call his forever home.
