Oreo's ideal home

Oreo is looking for a new home with a family that can give her all the fun adventures and playtime she deserves! Oreo can live with children aged 8 and over who will give her space when she needs a rest. Adopters who take on this affectionate girl will need to be committed to regularly brushing her and be prepared for visits to the groomers to keep her coat in good condition. Oreo loves to play and could live with another playful dog who doesn’t mind a bit of boisterous play, this girl loves to rough and tumble! She could also have doggy friends out and about or visiting the home. Not just one for fun and games, Oreo loves to learn and train and already knows her name and ‘sit’, but with the reward of a tasty treat she would love to learn more basic and fun skills in her new home! She can get excited when first coming out for a walk but then starts to explore a little more as time goes on. Oreo may be able to be left alone for up to 4 hours once settled in, but this should be introduced slowly once she has had time to get used to her new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk, so she can relax and have a long snooze!
Oreo will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Oreo's perfect match?

Oreo says hello! This 2-and-a-half-year-old Husky is a super sweet little lady who is full of life. She loves to have zoomies whilst out and about and have lots of cuddles with people. Oreo loves toys and will chase a tennis ball around and in typical husky style, gets a little vocal when she is having fun! She’d love a fun and playful home to go on fun adventures with so if you have space in your heart and home please welcome Oreo!

Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
