About This Dog

Kobi's ideal home

Kobi is a lovely, affectionate, gentle boy. He enjoys meeting dogs out on walks, and he could share his home with another dog. He is fine to live with older primary school aged children. He would love his own garden to run around in, and also loves long walks with the foster carer he is currently staying with. He loves going out in the car, and travels well. He needs adopters around all of the time initially, as he doesnt like to be left alone, and can become vocal.

Could you be Kobi's perfect match?

Kobi is a lovely calm dog, and he very much takes life as it comes. He really enjoys long walks, and is happy to travel in the car, so would love days out for sniffs and strolls. He does have a very high prey drive, so can be very strong on lead if he spots a deer or a squirrel, so adopters should be confident with managing this. He cannot live with cats. He's happy to walk alongside other dogs and enjoys meeting new people - always waggy and happy to say hello. He doesnt have a great appetite and can be quite picky with eating, so his new family will need to be patient with this. He will happily chill out for much of the day and relax in the home, but he doesn't like to be left alone, and this will need to be built very slowly once he's in his new home. He is on ongoing mild pain relief for his joints, which doesn't hold him back in any way, and this will be discussed in full with any potential adopters.
