About This Dog

Spirit's ideal home

Spirit is a seven-year-old crossbreed with a youthful spark, looking for an active home that can keep up with her energy and enthusiasm. She would love to live with a family who enjoy regular walks and outdoor adventures, and she could happily live with primary school aged children. Her ideal home will be on the outskirts of a city or in a quieter residential area, as she can manage short periods along busier roads but prefers a calmer environment overall, and she would prefer to have access to a secure garden to help maintain her house training. She’s comfortable being left alone when needed and is used to a settled routine, including sleeping in the kitchen in her previous home. While she enjoys meeting other dogs out and about, she would prefer her own space at home, and she’ll benefit from a family who can read her body language and are ready to build a loving, trusting bond.

Could you be Spirit's perfect match?

Spirit is a sweet, affectionate lady who adores attention, especially a good old chest rub! She’s very food-motivated and will appreciate a quiet spot to enjoy her meals. Toys aren’t really her focus, as she much prefers companionship, affection and shared experiences. When meeting new people she can be a little hesitant at first, but once she decides she's ready to say hello, her excitement shines through with happy wiggles and enthusiastic greetings. She’s great in the car, enjoys socialising with other dogs, and brings a lovely mix of maturity and playfulness. With the right family who will give her time, understanding and plenty of adventures, Spirit will offer loyalty, affection and a wonderful presence in the home.
