About This Dog

Yogi Bear's ideal home

Yogi Bear is an older boy ready to settle into his retirement home. He is best suited to an adult only home and is looking to be the only dog. He will benefit from continued socialisation and prefer his walks to be in low dog populated areas. Yogi Bear has a good history of living with cats and could do so again, following successful scent swaps and gradual introductions. Being an older gentleman, he does have some medical needs which will be discussed in full detail with any potential adopters.

Could you be Yogi Bear's perfect match?

Yogi Bear is an 11yr old Husky x Collie who came into our care after his previous owner became too unwell to care for him. He doesn’t like being left home alone so is looking for a family who are around all the time to begin with. Leaving hours can then be built up very gradually once he is settled. Yogi Bear has good home history of being housetrained, however a quick refresher in his new home won't go amiss and also travelling in a vehicle. Due to his age and medical, we are currently ramp training him to support him with getting in and out of a car more comfortably.
