Aro's ideal home

Meet the amazing Aro! He's come into our care for no fault of his own and at only 8 months old is a real live wire who is full of energy! In true Husky style he loves nothing more that being out and about exploring, playing and getting himself into mischief! He would love to find a fun loving family who he can share lots of fun and adventures with. Being a youngster, he hasn't quite mastered his basics yet and can jump up (very high) and is boisterous at times, so would be best suited to older children who are confident around large and bouncy dogs. Aro does have history of being in a home where he was mostly housetrained. He's not too sure about spending time home alone just yet, so will need a family who are able to build this up gradually with him. Aro does have history of being around cats, so we believe he could potentially live with one. We recommend introductions are done gradually and that they can both have spaces within the home to retreat to if needed. We're currently still asssessing Aro's interactions with other dogs, so he'll need to be the only dog for now however this may change as we learn more about him.

Aro is a big ball of fun! He has so much love to give and an infectious silly personality to match. He's been fantastic here at the centre for all types of handling including grooming (where he had a snooze during his blow dry)! Aro's new family will need to be committed to providing him with suitable outlets for his energy and be willing to research into the needs of his breed. He would thrive with an active family who loves adventures and exploring.
