About This Dog for Adoption
Toby's ideal home
Toby is an 8 month old Husky X looking for a family that can offer him the love and time he needs to settle into his new home. He could join a home with children of older primary school age (eg 8+) who are confident around dogs. Toby does not like sharing his teddies and toys with other dogs so will need to be the only dog in the home but would like to have doggy friends outside of the home to continue his socialisation as he gets older. Toby will need help learning all the basics, including house training. He would like a secure garden of his own so he has a safe space for exercise and play until he is fully vaccinated and can explore the wider world on walks. Due to his young age, Toby will need someone at home with him the majority of the time initially and any leaving hours will need to be gradually introduced.

Toby is a sweet boy who loves a fuss, cuddles and playing with toys. Prior to our care he had not experienced much of the world and is still very much a puppy. He is not used to walking on lead and needs help to learn the basics and would benefit from puppy classes to help continue his socialisation and skill building once in his new home.
