About This Dog for Adoption

Luna's ideal home

Luna can live with other dogs and children over the age of eight. She was house trained previously but being young may need a refresher when she goes home. Luna has bilateral elbow dysplasia and will need lifelong pain management.

Could you be Luna's perfect match?

Luna is simply charming and has absolutely everyone under her spell! She is the sweetest, most gentle and affectionate dog and is a dream to spend time with. She's been friendly with everyone she has met and laps up the attention, but she shows us some signs of being worried by more formal handling such as grooming and vet visits. She does have elbow dysplasia and will need meds for the rest of her life, but she doesn't let it get in the way of her day to day activities, although we wouldn't advise she take up running! Luna isn't used to spending time by herself and at ten months she is still a pup with a lot to learn. She has made a lot of doggy friends during her stay and we're happy to rehome her with another, although we would advise feeding them separately as we know she will guard her food form other dogs. Luna just oozes potential to be a fantastic family pet and it's going to be a very lucky one that adopts her.

Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Siberian Husky Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
