About This Dog for Adoption

Rhyver's ideal home

Rhyver is looking for a loving home that will offer her plenty of time to chill but also have space for her to ponder around in. Rhyver would be best suited with a fairly active home, with no kids, secured garden or access to a secured area for some off-lead fun.
Rhyver may be able to live with another dog after successful meets at the centre.
The adopter should do some research on the breed of a husky as Rhyver is quite your 'typical' husky in many ways! She enjoys a snuggle and attention but quite often this is at her picking and choosing!
Rhyver has had some gastro/stomach upset but is quite settled at the moment, so would need her adopter to stick to a relatively straight forward diet in the home - this should be all that she needs, but may require some veterinary check ups from time-to-time.

Could you be Rhyver's perfect match?

If you are looking for a goofy, fun-loving, energetic dog for your home - Rhyver is the dog for you. She can travel well in the car to new and exciting places. She would like to still be kept active in her new home and loves her walks, she also would enjoy a secure space or garden to potter around in during the day too!
She can chill out throughout the day at home - so you can go about your business, as long as her time at home is built up slowly.
She may require a few meets at the rehoming centre, just so she is used to her new owners before settling into the new home, our training team will be at hand to support with this
Breed experience would be brilliant for Rhyver but definitely not essential!

Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Siberian Husky Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
