Laika's ideal home

Lakia is looking to be rehomed with her companion Smokey. They are looking for a home that can exercise them both at the same, as the pair are very attached and become distressed if apart. Their new home will not have any other pets and will need a private garden. We believe Smokey and Lakia would be better suited to living with children who are 12 or over, due to their size and sometimes lively nature. They would benefit from living in a quieter area, as both can struggle with too much going on. Smokey and Lakia could be left for up to six hours if this time was built up slowly and once they settled in.

Could you be Laika's perfect match?

Lakia is an eight-year-old Siberian Husky who was handed over to us after her owner's circumstances changed. She is a wonderfully affectionate girl, who loves having a cuddle with people and is very bonded to her brother Smokey. Lakia also enjoys exploring when out on walks. She can be a bit fussy with her meals and treats, but we have found that she likes really tasty treats and nice meat mixed into her dinner. Lakia isn't a fan of other dogs and does need some training to improve her reaction and emotional response when she sees them.

Smokey and Lakia are a very sweet pair of huskies, who will add character and laughter to the right home.
