Description

Roxie's ideal home

This gorgeous girl is 1 year old Husky Crossbreed, Roxie! She is a super friendly girl who loves to say a big hello to everyone she meets. We are all having so much fun getting to know Roxie's wonderful personality. She has been doing fantastically since arriving at Dogs Trust, however, Roxie is lacking some manners when interacting with people and would greatly benefit from some training in this area. Due to her larger size and bouncy nature, Roxie will be best suited in a home with older children (14+) that have been around big dogs before, and if there is another dog in the home they must be tolerant of Roxie's enthusiastic play style! She will need to have a meet here at the Rehoming Centre with any resident dogs before adoption. Roxie is looking for an active home that will be able to bring her on plenty of walks to exciting new places! She is a very smart girl and has lots of potential for training as long as her adopters dedicate the time and patience to it. Giving Roxie the opportunity to use up some of her energy on enrichment activities (such as snuffle mats, scent games and puzzles) will be very beneficial for keeping her calm in the home.

Could you be Roxie's perfect match?

If you would love to bring a fun-loving, playful adventure buddy into your life then Roxie could be the girl for you! She has the most fun when running around outside or playing with her favourite toys. Roxie's ideal home will have a secure outdoor space so that she can stretch her legs during the day. Her adopter will need to be at home with her during the day to begin with to help her get settled, and after that leaving time will be able to be built up. If you think you could be Roxie's perfect match then please submit an adoption application and include her as one of your 'Favourite' dogs. Thank you!

Husky Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Siberian Husky.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
