About This Dog for Adoption

Lottie's ideal home

Sweet and independent girl Lottie is a 6 year old Husky cross Shepherd who loves a snack and enjoys exploring new places. She is not super interested in toys, preferring to zoom around with her favourite people when her sudden bursts of goofy energy come out. She can be quite aloof to begin with, but once she has built a bound with you she will check in for a quick gentle fuss before wandering off again. She has a sassy side, which you will see if you ask her for a paw, you can almost see the eye roll. This lovely lady is on the hunt for her new home.

Could you be Lottie's perfect match?

Lottie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures in quieter walking area, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with secondary school children who are confident around a larger dog, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Lottie would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have all of the attention to herself and would prefer not to see other dogs when out walking so she can enjoy her walks at her leisure. She already has a little training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “paw” and is currently doing muzzle training as she will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer, she can be enticed to engage in training in short sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in off lead at her leisure. Lottie would like adopters who are home the majority of the time especially to begin with as she does worry being left alone. Any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
