About This Dog for Adoption

Kingsley's ideal home

Kingsley is a bright, active, and wonderfully sociable dog who adores meeting new people and canine friends. His enthusiasm really shines on walks, where he can get quite excitable, so he’ll thrive in a moderately busy, active home that can offer him plenty of exercise and continued training.

A secure, private garden will give Kingsley a great space to play, unwind, and enjoy his outdoor time safely on‑lead.

He previously lived with a two‑year‑old child and was beautifully gentle, but because he can become boisterous and jump up when excited, he’ll be best suited to a home with older children of secondary‑school age and above.

Kingsley is described as incredibly sociable, polite in his greetings and very friendly once he’s introduced to someone.

Could you be Kingsley's perfect match?

Kingsley is a wonderful four‑year‑old Labrador crossbreed who came into our care through no fault of his own, after his previous owner’s health sadly changed.

He’s a loving, affectionate boy with a huge heart and an even bigger enthusiasm for life. He absolutely adores people and is always eager to say hello. Kingsley gets excited when meeting someone new, but once he’s had a sniff and greeted them properly, he settles into his naturally polite and friendly self. He loves walks, exploring, and sniffing everything he can find.

Kingsley is currently in foster carer where he enjoys curling up with his foster carer and soaking up affection.
He is fully house‑trained, has had no accidents, and uses the garden reliably. Overnight, Kingsley sleeps downstairs on his own. He may whine for a couple of minutes, but he then settles beautifully and sleeps soundly through until morning.

He hasn’t yet been left alone during the day in his foster home, but he’s showing every sign of being able to adapt well with a gentle, gradual routine.

Kingsley is also an excellent traveller. He hopped in and out of the car with ease for his 40‑minute journey to foster, happily looking out the window before settling down calmly for the rest of the trip.

This lovely Labrador has so much warmth, joy, and companionship to offer. He’s ready for a home that can embrace his enthusiasm and give him the love and adventure he truly deserves.
