About This Dog for Adoption

Skye's ideal home

Skye is an 8 year old Husky who is looking for a forever home with her best friend Zulu. They've both arrived into our care with little known about their previous history but have been wonderful since being with us. We're unsure if this beautiful pair are housetrained so they may need some support as they settle into their forever home. We recommend any time being left is gradually built up too. True to her Husky nature, Skye loves to sing! She also loves to play with toys and the squeaky ones are her favourite. Unfortunately both Skye and Zulu we're quite dirty and matted on arrival, but have since had a pamper session (for which they were very well behaved) and are feeling much more fabulous! It's important their new families can commit to their grooming needs to keep them looking and feeling their best. We're currently still assessing how they both interact with other dogs so they'll need to be the only pets for now.

Could you be Skye's perfect match?

Syke and Zulu are a wonderful pair, who love being together. With their size, they can be quite excitable and strong on the lead so will need adopters who can continue their training with positive reinforcement to help them be their best! Although they are getting older, they both still love to get out and about to explore so would blossom with a fun loving and active family!

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
