Savannah's ideal home
Savannah is a beautiful 4 year old Husky who is looking for her forever home! She has come from quite a sheltered background, so she hasn't been been exposed to early basic training so she would need someone willing to start this off with her. She is a very foody girl so this will be very helpful in her learning. Savannah is a super sweet, friendly girl who is looking for a home where children are 8yrs+. She can also live with another dog in the home pending a successful meet here at the center. Although Savannah is a calm dog, she copes well in noisy environments so could suit a busier home.
Could you be Savannah's perfect match?
Savannah often thinks she's a lap dog as she likes to rest her head on you for a scratch and loves being close to you. She has recently started to groom her handlers which is of course much appreciated by them! Due to not being used to a home environment, we believe Savannah would benefit from any leaving hours to be built up gradually as she settles in - although she does settle really nicely on her own in her kennel. Savannah can be a bit spooked by novel items, so would need her family to be patient with her and introduce her to new things slowly! She hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, however we hope once she's in her forever home she will understand she can let loose and have a good play. She really is a gorgeous girl, and deserves the best.
