Dave's ideal home

Dave is on the search for his forever home with patient adopters who will give him plenty of time to come out of his shell- this may require multiple meets at the centre. Dave would love to go on long adventures but adopters must understand that he is still learning about the world and can be worried by new things. He can live with a well matched dog but may need some help understanding not to be too boisterous when meeting dogs out and about. Any dogs in the home must be neutered. Dave is a shy boy and can be worried by strangers, due to this he can live with older teenagers in a quieter household. Additionally, he would like to be separated from the front door in order to not become worried by visitors. He would like a garden to enjoy- this ideally would be private, however, a quiet communal garden could work too.

Darling Dave is a cheeky chap who adores people once he has come out of his shell. He is a nervous boy but with love, reassurance, and of course some extra tasty treats he is sure to become your best friend in no time. He has a proper cheeky side and will attempt to climb on your shoulders for attention. He will make a great cuddle buddy in the evenings but is sure to try hog the whole sofa if he can. Dave enjoys his toys, the soft ones are his favourite. He is a lovely boy who with time and patience will show off his wonderful personality.
